1. Introduction

The use of intelligent motor protectors in low-voltage power distribution systems not only effectively ensures the safe operation of the motor, but also completely replaces the traditional protectors, and uses scientific communication technology, motor control automation systems, and has achieved good economic benefits. 2. ARD Series Motor Protection and Control
ARD intelligent motor protector is suitable for low-voltage motor circuits with rated voltage up to 660V, integrating protection, measurement, control, communication, and operation and maintenance. Its complete protection function ensures the safe operation of the motor, and it has logical programmable functions to meet various control methods. The product adopts a split structure, consisting of a main body, a display unit, and a mutual inductor, which can be adapted to the installation of various cabinets. Different communication modules can be selected to meet on-site communication needs.
3. Function
3.1 It supports fundamental and full-wave power parameter measurement (U, I, P, Q, S, PF, F, EP, EQ), current and current unbalance, current positive sequence, negative sequence, zero sequence component, voltage, three-phase voltage phase angle, and residual current.
3.2 The protection functions include overload inverse time, overload definite time, grounding, starting timeout, leakage, underload, phase failure, stall, blockage, short circuit, overflow, imbalance (current, voltage), overpower, underpower, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase sequence, temperature, tE time, external fault, starting number limit, running time alarm, and fault number alarm.
3.3 It has 9 programmable DI inputs, built-in DC24V power supply is used by default, and external active wet contact can also be selected.
3.4 It has 5-way programmable DO output, meeting direct starting, star-delta starting, auto-transformer starting, and other starting methods. The master station can remotely control the motor "start/stop" through the communication bus.
3.5 Optional anti-power shaking function: supports immediate restart after power shaking and restart after pressure loss.
3.6 MODBUS_RTU communication and PROFIBUSDP communication are optional, and support up to 2 communication interfaces.
3.7 Optional 1-way DC4-20mA analog output interface can be connected to the DCS system to monitor on-site equipment.
3.8 It has various event records including fault record, start record, parking record, DI position change record and restart record.
3.9 The display interface is LCD, and supporting Chinese/English switching.
