The Introduction of Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage System

1. Introduction

With the continuous intensification of energy transformation, the energy internet has become a common direction for the development of energy systems in various countries. As a key technology supporting the energy internet, energy storage has been widely applied in large commercial and industrial high-energy-consuming units such as smart cities, industrial parks, community business districts, and commercial office buildings, achieving intelligent energy management.

From the perspective of the power grid: energy management on the user side can achieve local consumption and alleviate the pressure on the power grid.

From the corporate perspective: Ensuring the supply of electricity is the primary task , and enhancing the willingness to allocate energy storage is strengthened by economic benefits.

 

2. Metering

Purpose of metering

Real-time Monitoring: Accurately measure and record the input and output of energy in the energy storage system, including key parameters such as voltage, current, power, and energy. 

Two-way Metering: Capable of recording the flow of electricity from the grid to the energy storage system and from the energy storage system to the grid, achieving two-way metering. 

Efficiency Assessment: Evaluate the operational efficiency of the energy storage system through monitoring data, identify energy loss points, and optimize energy management strategies.

Load Management: Based on meter data, reasonably allocate the charging and discharging times and power of the energy storage system, balance system loads, and enhance system stability and efficiency.

4. Insulation Monitoring

Insulation Resistance Monitoring: Insulation monitoring function can be enabled or disabled by sending communication frames via RS485. Once the insulation monitoring is activated, the internal high-voltage grounding switch closes to achieve real-time measurement of insulation resistance. When the insulation monitoring function is turned off, the high-voltage grounding switch opens.

DC Voltage Monitoring: After the product is powered, the DC voltage is continuously monitored. 

Alarm Indication: Indicated by LED alarm signals.

Fault Recording Function: Equipped with SOE (Sequence of Events) fault recording function, capable of recording the time of fault occurrence and the resistance value, among other details.
